Islamic Jihad Leader Calls for Attacks inside Israel
At a large-scale rally of the resistance factions in Gaza on the occasion of Jerusalem Day (September 3, 2010), Hamas leader Isma'il Al-Shaker warned that the resistance would not stand by while the PA rounded up Hamas activists in the West Bank, and called to carry out further attacks against Israeli targets.

He thanked Iran for its support in the issue of Jerusalem, and urged other countries to follow its example. About the PA's participation in the negotiations, he said it was an act of betrayal against Allah and His Messenger, and promised that Jerusalem would be liberated as it had been liberated by Saladin, through resistance and jihad.

Islamic Jihad leader Khaled Al-Batsh called on the Al-Qassam and Al-Quds Brigades – the military branches of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, respectively – to attack the enemy everywhere, and to carry out operations within Israel, like the 2001 bombing at the Sbaro restaurant in Jerusalem and the 2002 bombing at Meggido juncture, so as to stop the negotiations. It should be noted that that 32 Israelis were killed in these two bombings.

Hamas calls women and children 'military targets'

The Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas on Saturday said that all Jews living in Judea and Samaria (the so-called "West Bank") are legitimate military targets, regardless of whether they are men, women or children.

Hamas spokesman Azat al-Ghashek told the London-based Arabic newspaper Al-Hayat that it is "natural" to want to harm any Jew that is found in these areas, as they are "the reserve force of the occupation army on Palestinian land."

Al-Ghashek was interviewed following last week's brutal execution of four Jewish civilians near the Judean town of Hebron that left seven Israeli children without parents. Hamas claimed credit for that attack and organized street rallies in Gaza City to celebrate the slayings.

Palestinian terror groups have long argued that even killing Israeli women and children constitutes legitimate military activity since all Israeli Jews eventually serve in the army.
